This Cookies Policy explains how TraitSpan (“TraitSpan”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use NODIVEX (the “Service”). NODIVEX is a product operated by TraitSpan. Certain functionality is powered by vianodi, a simulation engine and platform also operated by TraitSpan.

What are cookies?

We use these technologies to operate the Service, keep it secure, and (only if you opt in) understand how people use the Service to improve it.

How we categorise cookies

• • ts_base_device_id — A pseudonymous device identifier used for guest continuity across nodivex.com subdomains, fairness limits, abuse prevention, and reliability monitoring. It is not derived from your name/email and is not intended to directly identify you.
• • Session / auth cookies (where applicable) — Used to keep you signed in and protect account access.
• • Short-lived engine authorisation tokens (where applicable) — Used to authorise simulations and protect the Service from abuse.
• • Load balancing / infrastructure cookies (where applicable) — Used to route requests reliably and securely.

Preferences cookies

Where implemented, preferences cookies remember settings you choose (for example, display or accessibility preferences). These are not used for advertising.

• • Theme or layout preferences (where available).
• • Localisation preferences (where available).

Analytics cookies (optional)

If you opt in, we enable product improvement analytics to understand which features are used, how the Service performs, and where people encounter issues. This helps us improve reliability and usability. If you do not opt in, we do not enable analytics identifiers or session recording.

• • ts_analytics_consent — Stores your analytics preference so we can respect your choice across sessions and across both www.nodivex.com and app.nodivex.com.
• • Product improvement analytics — Implemented using PostHog and routed through a first-party ingest endpoint on our domain.

Managing your choices

You can control cookies in two ways: 1) Through our consent controls (where shown) Where required, we present a consent banner for optional analytics. Your choice is stored in ts_analytics_consent and applies across both marketing (www) and app (app) experiences on the .nodivex.com root domain. 2) Through your browser Most browsers let you delete cookies and block future cookies. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Service may not function correctly (for example, sign-in, guest continuity, or abuse-prevention controls).

Cookie retention

We keep cookies only for as long as necessary for their purpose. Essential cookies may persist to preserve continuity and consent state. Analytics identifiers are only set and persisted if you opt in.
